Description of Service
CardPass is a mobile application that allows users to:
- Scan and digitise student ID cards
- Store digital copies of ID cards on their device
- Access digital ID cards through Apple Wallet integration
- Manage and organise their student identification documents
User Responsibilities
Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use the App only for its intended purpose
- Provide accurate information when required
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Use the App in a manner that does not harm others or the service
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use the App for illegal activities
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the App
- Share your account credentials with others
- Upload malicious content or viruses
- Violate any third-party rights
- Use the App to create fraudulent identification documents
Intellectual Property
Our Rights
- CardPass and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by us
- The App’s software, design, and functionality are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal purposes
Your Content
- You retain ownership of the ID card images you upload
- By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your images for app functionality
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any images
Privacy and Data
- Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy
- We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
- You consent to data processing necessary for app functionality
Disclaimers and Limitations
Service Availability
- The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
Accuracy
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of scanned or processed ID information
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of digitised content

Limitation of Liability

- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any)
- We are not responsible for device compatibility issues or data loss
User Account and Data

- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account

- We are not liable for losses due to unauthorised account access
Data Backup
- You are responsible for backing up your important data
- We recommend regular backups of your ID card information
- We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure or other circumstances
Third-Party Services
- The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple Wallet)
- Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms
- We are not responsible for third-party service availability or functionality
Updates and Changes
App Updates
- We may release updates to improve functionality and security

Termination
